Al-dar is (for me) the best Hannover's restaurant! I had an excellent meal there whenever I visited Hannover.
From starter to the sweet end every dish is perfect. The food is nice to see and very tasty to eat. A food quality is constantly high, Lebanese vines fits perfect to this Syrian food story.
Al-dar has my sincere recommendation! ????

Huge space, indoor and outdoor. Food is good and the price is fair. We had the Al-dar plate which allows to taste a bit of everything and also al dar dessert which is a mix of desserts. The service was too slow, the staff didn't seem interested to make it happen, but overall experience was good.

Pros:
- Grill, dessert and tee are decent.
Cons:
- tabuleh tasted as if it was forgotten in the fridge for a week
- only one person in the staff was genuinely nice.
- appetisers in general were far from fresh and didn't represent the authentic syrian Maza

I visited their restaurant today in the Maschsee Fest. A completely disaster! I order a variaion grill for about 20 euro. I recieved it after 2 minutes! Wow! The quantity was another shock. I was served a small piece of chicken breast, a finger size kebab piece and two pieces of lamb meat sized as a finger tips. taste was a joke. Definitely not a Syrian grill.

Our favourite syrian restaurant in Germany. Entrance is along the small gate / walkway to the right of the restaurant. You arrive into a magical garden with beautiful cushions and umbrellas and decor. You can eat outside or enter the restaurant building up the stairs to the left. There is a reception with free mints on the right. The toilets are upstairs to the left left. The decor and the food is very picturesque and staff is international with english menues available. Verh luxurious and high quality place without the formal stiffness. Everyone is incredibly charming and friendly. We go here whenever we are in Hannover. Best to make a reservation as this place is very high in demand. Hope this helps. #ingavardhan
