After the bike tour you come back to the old train station and can immediately refresh yourself with a drink in the in-house beer garden or enjoy a delicious meal from the menu. Equally refreshing is the friendly manner of the entire team from "Zum alten Bahnhof". Whether in the restaurant or in the hotel business, you feel warmly and familiarly received. In the beautifully and tastefully furnished room you will feel right at home. For a special occasion (kneeling), Mrs. Paetz lovingly decorated a festively decorated table for us to match the occasion. Away from the hospitality we were able to enjoy our special moment. Just awesome. Thank you very much for that. A holiday we will probably not forget. We would like to come again…..

Mitte Juni 2022 waren wir 9 Nächte im „Zum alten Bahnhof“ in Curslack zu Gast. Von hieraus haben wir wunderbare Radtouren durch die schöne Landschaft im Umkreis gemacht. Auf alten Industrie Bahnstrecken, die zu perfekten Radwegen ausgebaut wurden, kann man entspannt, ohne PKW Verkehr, radeln. An der Elbe entlang geht es nach Ost und West mit toller Aussicht und durch schöne Orte. Zu den Landungsbrücken in Hamburg ist es nur 25 km weit und gefahrlos zu fahren. Sehr empfehlenswert. Nach der Radtour kommt man dann zurück Zum alten Bahnhof und kann sich sofort im hauseigenen Biergarten mit einem Getränk erfrischen oder ein leckeres Gericht von der Speisekarte genießen. Ebenso erfrischend ist die freundliche Art und Weise des gesamten Teams vom „Zum alten Bahnhof“. Ob in der Gaststätte oder im Hotelbetrieb, man fühlt sich herzlich und familiär aufgenommen. Im schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtetem Zimmer fühlt man sich auf Anhieb wohl. Für eine besondere Gelegenheit (Kniefall), dekorierte Frau Paetz liebevoll für uns einen festlich geschmückten Tisch passend zum Anlass. Abseits vom Gastbetrieb konnten wir unseren besonderen Moment genießen. Einfach genial. Vielen herzlichen Dank dafür. Ein Urlaub den wir wohl nicht vergessen werden. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder…..

In short, I had a great day/night and morning.

Allereerst het maken van een reservering ging zonder problemen en gewoon via de e-mail. Het ontvangst was hartelijk en vriendelijk. Ik had een kamer gereserveerd voor 1 nacht om in de buurt o.a het kamp Nuengamme te bezoeken. De kamers waren heel knus en gezellig, schoon en ruim voldoende voor mij alleen, maar ook met gezin prima te doen. Lekker op bier terras buiten in half schaduw gezeten en goed gegeten. De nacht heerlijk rustig geslapen. Het ontbijt stond s’morgens al gereed op de tafel, verse koffie, sapje en voldoende beleg. Kortom ik heb een top dag/nacht en ochtend gehad.
Zeker aan te bevelen en kom graag nog eens terug.

Essen war gut, preislich völlig in Ordnung. Ambiente draußen sehr gut.Getränke und Essen kamen Ruck zuck. Personal freundlich und sehr schnell, Mitarbeiter sind nicht als solche zu erkennen, das ist aber nicht schlimm weil sehr zuvorkommend. Alles wirkt sehr familiär.
Viele Fahrradfahrer halten hier an, da der Fahrradweg direkt vorbei geht. Parkplätze sind auch gebührend vorhanden. Der alte Bahnhof ist auch für Kinder schön zum Zug Spielen, eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit gab es dann auch noch geschenkt. Bis bald :-)
