Absolutely brilliant place to visit Hamburg from (buses every hour). Great facilities including a restaurant but you need to book. Great for walking, cycling or just chilling watching the boats going up and down.

I've visited this motorhome site twice in recent weeks, it's tucked away at the end of a long country road beside the River Elbe. Very efficient booking system, and they always keep spaces for unplanned stays. Good showers and loos, EHU everywhere, recommended if you are travelling via Hamburg

Nice stopover with lots of stands. Not all sites have a view of the river, but it is just a short walk away. Bring your leveling blocks as some are not level. Very friendly staff, we checked in during the afternoon and only paid the next morning.

Simple, yet well run site on the banks of the Elbe River. Very cheap to stay here. Showers 50c. Washing machine 3€. Clean and efficient. Electric hook up available. Bus service into Hamburg right next to the campsite. Lovely walking and biking nearby. Quiet area and site. Would recommend. A hidden gem!

What a great place to stay! We found this caravanpark online on our way to Hamburg. We did not have a booking beforehand and we realized that we would arrive a little late to check in (according to their check in time). We called them and they were super helpful and we got in safe for the night. Only positive things to say about the staff and area; quiet, clean and idyllic. Very easy to get to the city centre by bus/train/taxi.

Excellent stellplatz cum campsite. Very close to the A1 autobahn but on the river and very quiet. Helpful staff member who spoke good English. Ideal overnight or for visiting Hamburg.
