This was an ideal place for us to stay on our trip in our van. Free to park up for the night, however it was quite noisy with people partying on the step until around 4 followed by the set up of the local market from around 6. Can't complain really though as it is free parking literally a 10 minute walk from all the hustle and bustle of Hamburg city centre.

Für den Preis von 20,- € steht man dafür aber mit Super Ausblick auf die Elbe und den Hafen. Im hinteren Teil des Platzes findet Sonntags der Fischmarkt mit den Marktschreiern statt. Die Landungsbrücken, der alte Elbtunnel, die Reeperbahn, das Portugiesenviertel sowie Hafencity und die Elbphilharmonie sind von hier fußläufig zu erreichen. All das rechtfertigt den Preis, und wem es zu teuer ist, der soll einfach weiter fahren.
