We visited Trude on a Tuesday evening. We had to wait pretty long unlit the waiter was willing to take our food order. We had 3 of their vegan options and 2 of them were rather kitchen fails. Forget the Konigsberger Klopse in vegan... Not sure what they are made of, but it's not edible. The vegan Mexican Flammkuchen has waaay too much sauce on it and totally loses the crispy Flammkuchen feeling. The restaurant has a nice location but I would rather choose it for drinks than eating out.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Can't say a lot about the inside, because we ate outside in there big outdoor area. Food took a while to arrive, but my guess would be, that they wanted to serve the whole group together, we where like 14 people. But the wait was rewarded with a big portion of tasty and freshly made food. So highly recommend the place.

Also would recommend reserving a table, at least when we ate there, the place was nearly booked up.

Staff was really friendly, and the location is great, so I’m giving this restaurant 2 stars. But the food is totally disappointing ???? I can’t recommend this restaurant to anyone

A bit too expensive for the quality (and the food is most of the times not warm enough) but they have great cocktails and the staff is always nice.

Great atmosphere in this place. Went at the evening it was a little crowded but with two people it was easy to get a seat. If you're a bigger group I recommend to reserve on advance.

The food was good. I had a vegan beyond meat which tasted good. The sweet potatoe fries were a little to long cooked. Some of them were too hard.

As a craft beer lover I would not go here. There are only Lager, weizen and pilsner on the menu.

Nice popular location, but choose something else than German red wine (glass) with the ok food. Note: serve Beyond Burger, good enough for meat lovers too.

Was here for midweek Dinner with a big group..

Summary:
- Place is full, make sure to make a reservation
- Positive atmosphere, can get loud. If looking for a quiet dinner then maybe a table inside
- Had the classic cheese burger (deluxe Hamburger), was good
- Prices on the higher side
- Service is to the point, to be fair the staff have their hands full.

In crude terms, given the crowds, you are just another guest here and I think the place is great for large groups. For a smaller intimate dinner there are similar priced better options.
