Don’t ask me why but I love this restaurant. The « back room » is much more quiet and all those pictures of famous people on the wall contribute to the « vintage touch ». One will tell that what matter is what you have in your plate and here you will not be disappointed…Special note for the pasta with fresh truffles!

First of all, the waiter proposed us the most unpleasant table outside while it was really cold on the street and we were with the baby. While there’re other free tables. After I told him that we wouldn’t sit there with the baby, he unwillingly proposed us another one. The menu is unreadable for foreigners on a desk on a distance like 5 meters from the table in the darkness so it’s not visible for people with bad eyesight. We waited for food for an hour. That’s insane. It seems like they started cooking for us late deliberately. The staff is unhelpful and almost rude. The food is mediocre. So I strongly don’t recommend this place. Never again if you respect yourself. Also they don’t have pizza and they have only small beer which price is like big in other places.

Legendary truffle tagliatelle was
followed by a salt baked fish, served with simplicity and care. Fresh sweet strawberries with mascarpone to finish, all served with an elegant Italian white. Excellent service and recommendations by Gino. A very fine meal indeed.

We were very satisfied with our visit at Trattoria Due. The food was fantastic and the staff was nice and welcoming. Gino was our waiter, and he was so kind. Definately worth a visit if you are in Hamburg.

After we told him that we wouldn’t sit there with the baby, he unwillingly proposed us another one.

The menu is unreadable for foreigners written with a chalk on a desk at a distance, like 5 meters from the table.

Situated in the darkness, and it’s not visible to the people with the bad eyesight.

We waited for food for an hour or so. That’s insane! It seems like they started cooking for us late deliberately!

The staff is unhelpful and almost rude. The food is mediocre. So I strongly recommend to avoid this place by all means!

Consider they don’t have pizza too!! Also they sell a small beer at a cost of a large one!!

We left hungry and ordered a pizza and a normal 0,5L beer in another place.

Delicious food, casual, friendly staff, and the atmosphere is just what you would hope for. The staff were the best, helpful with the chalkboard menu and ordering dinner! Another visit I had pasta with truffles, (the ones rooted out by pigs)! The staff worked to add another chair and answer numerous questions. And I think every staff member checked to see if we needed anything. Outstanding! Note: the bathroom was in the basement!

Zero service.
No English menu, they did not help me and did not offer or advise me to choose something.
Silently watched from the side when several times I said that would like to just have dinner.

thank you for wasted time and no respect!
