The GONE AWAY BAR - A Unique Experience!
This great little bar invites with amazing Mexican food once a week (or a month, depending on demand), and makes the best alcohol-free cocktails I've ever had.

This team of gourmet magicians and atmosphere shamans goes to great lengths to serve on an individual and customised level.

I have yet to find a place where I can eat original Mexican Tortillas. These are the best here in Hamburg.

We happened upon this little bar by chance as we were ending our evening in Hamburg after as lovely dinner at a steak house nearby. The sign underneath the name of the bar said it was the best American bar in Hamburg and for us it was true! Matt and Graeme were the bartenders and not only very cool and friendly but they also knew their cocktails and served us in a fun and timely manner. Really good vibe scene, definitely with a visit when you're in Hamburg!

Great Cocktails, very good service, illustrious neighbourhood. We found this little gem and were convinced very quickly. No menu but individual guidance by the great barkeeper. A great choice of basic and fancy/elaborated drinks and ingredients. They seem to make/grow some of their stuff (sirups, herbs) themselves. This excellent bar is situated next to pretty strange (posh/mainstream) clubs, so you can watch people you don't wanna meet from a safe distance.

Small, friendly owner operated cocktail bar with tailored handmade cocktails that will make a non-liquor person like myself turn to liquor!

International crowd which where you will hear every conceivable language mixed into conversation.

Now also selling takeaway bottled cocktails with the tag line "stay home but don't stay sober".
