Great place, super friendly staff, wonderful ambiance. rooms are not too large but very stylish decorated and comfortable.
The public spaces like the library and the salon are wonderfully decorated, tasteful and well maintained.
Friendly staff and great location.

Staff at the reception are rude and sullen. They are very rude in addressing and style to customers. Bed and pillow are very uncomfortable. There is not even a parking lot where you can park your car for a fee. There are numerous very good quality hotels where you can stay for less than this price. Don't be a victim by coming to The George hotel for nothing.

On a reservation mistake made by the staff, a very confusing exchange of responsibility between the "reservation" team (whoever it is) and the front desk team followed. We ended up with no issue resolved and paying more than what was planned.

i have been to the bar and restaurant which were very nice. excellent cocktail and amazing service, friendly team and all english speakers ! definitely a place that i would recommend :)

The place in Hamburg is not the nicest . The elevator and rooms have not nice smell (mold, humidity) overpriced breakfast, 20 euros each person

A bit confusing at the arrival as it was hard to access our room by showing our Covid Pass Documentation (staff was no really accepting it at first whereas it was totally right). But the next morning we had a very nice lady.
Rooms are good. Would recommend higher floor with view on alster (did it last summer and the view made the room 100x better).
Breakfast is a bit poor but for sure you can eat enough but the choice is quite limited.
