We used to come here every week and were happy with the food and drinks. The staff is normally very friendly but today my 18 month old got yelled at to be quiet (toddlers can be loud!).Needless to say it didn’t help, she didn’t understand it and it ruined the visit. We really try not to be a nuisance to anyone but sometimes a little empathy can go a long way.

Coffee is good (better than the Espresso House nearby) and I will definitely continue to get my coffee from there when I am passing by. Tried a bagel today and it was terrible, tasted nothing like a bagel, more like a stale dry bread roll in the shape of a bagel. I wasn't expecting it to be as good as an American bagel but it was really bad. Bagels at Elbgold are much better.

The best banana bread in town! Nothing can beat it, try it - and you will see. The rest of pastry is also always fresh and very tasty. Coffee is very good as well, one of the best in Hamburg. The staff is very friendly. In summer they have delicious ice cream too!
