Lovely italian restaurant in the heart of Winterhude with superb food.

For Hamburg reasonably priced and VERY friendly. Mostly customers in their twens and thirties. Great l, cozy atmosphere.

Only downside on our visit was that one of the dishes arrived much later, because of a mixup/misunderstanding and that they only take EC cards and cash (I hate to carry cash).

Overall, highly recommendable!

Excellent food, friendly service, the place looks fine, the rump steak and the Novillo with mushrooms, cream and cognac sauce was very tasty. Eventually got some noisy companions in tables nearby.

Probably the best on this place is the viewing on the canal. Food was average, but I liked that they give you some free starters (olives, bread and a really good garlic butter).

Ristorante Rocco was the best Italian restaurant we went to in Hamburg. Food and wine were really delicious.

The staff was great, nice and friendly. I believe that the Rocco's is still led by an Italian family.

Location-wise the place is great. Directly next to an Alster river canal.

Overall it is definitely worth to go with Restaurante Rocco.
