Loved it. Me and my wife went without knowing the place, but was really happy we did - we were greeted by a very friendly staff and it felt like we were visiting freinds. We stayed for 3 hours, enjoying the fabulous food and wines and just had such a good time. The restaurant is located downstairs, next to a canal and have a very cozy atmosphere. They even made the toilets a pleasant visit with beautiful tiles on the wall. I can highly recommend it and will definitely come back when visiting Hamburg in the future.

Beautiful location especially with a glass of wine sitting right on the water. Friendly, perfunctory service. And for Hamburg, a good cup of coffee too! Very reasonable 3-course lunch for euro 26. Nice mix of German and European food with a focus on seasonal ingredients on the daily menu.

Really enjoyed the food and found the staff to be friendly also. The location right by the water is also really nice. It’s a bit more pricey but the portions are pretty big, so no one will be leaving hungry.

Really lovely food, service and atmosphere in a great location. Loved the setting as well, great for people watching. Staff were super attentive and friendly, would certainly come again. Menu is quite focused, we had the schnitzel, zander fillet and pasta and all of it was good.

Good Food but unfriendly Staff.
Rialto undoubtedly serves very decent food and boasts an atmosphere that is well fit for a business lunch or dinner. However, it is also one of those places where staff makes everyone feel like a nuisance who should feel honoured to be granted a seat, somewhar ruining the atmosphere. Beware, drinks are redicilously overpriced. But if you are looking for a very decent authentic Wiener Schnitzel, Rialto is the place to go. So I'd still recommend it despite the sometimes unbearably unwelcoming staff.
