What a fantastic find. HIGHLY recommended. The place is a quiet no nonsense Italian restaurant run by an amazing proprietor and the food is absolutely amazing. Pizzas to.die.for and freshly made. It's also very well priced. Ideal if you want a quick meal as you are only 5 mins walk from Hamburg hbf too.

My favourite restaurant in Hamburg, and I endeavour to visit at least once every time I'm in town. The menu is quite extensive, there being a 'today' board with the day's specials chalked up, and the regular table menu. I like the whole experience of dining in this place, it's very cosy and after the 2nd or 3rd visit feels very much like coming home for dinner. The menu items are very well chosen, and definitely cooked to order (i.e. no pre-prepared microwaved items). The eating options are without fail interesting and imaginative, although I must say that, having been here a number of times now over the last 4 or 5 years, I have favourites which I always feel like eating. The service is exemplary, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The food - well, I'm not Gordon Ramsay but I get to eat out *a lot* and this place would be my choice every time, given the option. You can probably tell by now that I like eating here. So be cool, be relaxed, talk to the staff and you will be treated like a family member and fed like a Lord. Pricing is $$.

It's always a lovely experience to eat there. The waiter is always very polite and the food delicious. I love the atmosphere and the food. This time I tried a steak and it way just perfect! I will definitely come back.

We're very happy to have this place so close to home, and it has become a regular destination. The food is good and above all the staff are very friendly and know how to keep clients. The whole place is consistently charming.

Had a pizza for take away which was really tasty. The staff was friendly. The atmosphere and setting looked great. Next time visiting Hamburg I will definetly sit in instead of take away.

Found this restaurant while looking for a nice dinner place. Since we had our dog with us, we wanted something a little bit less busy. This place is great! Nice and cosy. Away from the busy lange Reihe right next to the church. Food was really good too and the waiter really friendly.
