This a simple, no frills hotel. The rooms are basic but good enough if mostly you just want to have a place to bed down for the night The comfort of the bed was fair but the pillows provided left a lot to be desired. The room was quiet but there were few other guests during our stay. When some did show up late at night it revealed how thin the walls were,
The room had few spare electrical outlets.which made charging electronic devices rather inconvenient.
The bathrooms are typically small with few amenities. The thin shower curtain wasn't very effective and would create a mess in the floor each time you showered. The towels provided were rather sparse.
Breakfast is an optional. If I were to do it over again I think I would pass and just get something from a bakery or restaurant. The choices were good enough but limited and the coffee was something like your dad would have drank. Our room had a table and chairs so it provided a place to bring a meal back to the hotel at lunch or in the evening.
The owners are kind and thoughtful, but they are no longer on the premises after 6:00 or so in the evening, at least as far as I could tell.
The cost is reasonable and the location superb if you are using the central train station. The hotel is only a 5-minute walk from the train station and right across the street from the large-steepled St Georg Church. It provides a convenient landmark for locating the hotel.
