We stayed for 2 nights. The location is great! You can reach anything in short amounts of time on foot, or walk to the station and take any S-Bahn or train, there's also a subway station right next to the hotel! The room was very clean and nicely kept. The bed was comfortable and the AC was a life saver. Despite being close to a busy street, it was completely quiet and we could relax without issues. We will come again! :)

Very well run hotel. Spotlessly clean. Rooms very comfortable u0026 well laid out u0026 soundproofed. Breakfast was excellent offering wonderful choices. The streaky bacon best I ever tasted u0026 well worth price. The bar service could be improved. I asked for a Barcardi-bottle was on shelf but as it wasn't on drinks menue I couldn't have it even though I assured them it should be same price as Smirnoff. A little common sense should apply. Staff very friendly u0026 helpful. Reception should have supply of free Hamburg maps. Good hotel I will return.

We booked the same family rooms in Premier Inn in Dresden, and in Hamburg 1 week later.
1. Room size: Hamburg room is a little bit smaller. Even for a family room, we expected the room to be small. But this is smaller than the one in Dresden. This is actually OK.
2. No baby cot till we asked: We booked the room online for both branches, including information of our 5-month baby. Dresden branch had the baby cot already while Hamburg one did not.
3. No security box: I thought this should be the minimal requirement. We didn’t have it in Hamburg. Then, we needed to carry all our important papers with us all the day long.
4. Service was bad - Receptionist was impolite: we expected 2 keycards by default. The receptionist gave us only 1 key (for a family of 4, really?). Then, we had to ask for the 2nd key. Next day, we went out, bringing 1 key card, and left 1 in the key hole. We came back, and the key in the hole was gone. We came to receptionist asking why. The receptionist didn’t even listen to me in front, but laughing with the colleague beside. I had to ask why they were so impolite with customer. I felt very uncomfortable.

Premier Inn hotels are solid no nonsense hotels, which offer excellent value and the Premier Inn, Hamburg is no different. For the money, this is an excellent choice for those wanting to visit Hamburg without splashing the cash! The location is excellent, being a ten minute walk from Hamburg's main station.Our room (414) was small (2 singles and a double) but was clean and had a super bathroom with a powerful shower. We had a view out over a busy main road but could hear no noise whatsoever.The majestic Chilehaus building was also visible. The two best tourist attractions of Hamburg, Miniature Wonderland and the new concert hall, are within walking distance. Breakfast was superb (fruit, buns, cereals or full English) and included in the price we paid. There is a stylish lounge where you can sit and watch the world go by. Drawbacks? As with all Premier Inns that we have stayed at, the windows cannot be opened so the room can get a little stuffy at night. Also, the air conditioning was not that powerful. However, all in all, a great place to stay in Hamburg. (Hamburg is not a city we would recommend, but there are many attractive towns and cities in close proximity eg Lubeck and Schwerin.)

I would give 5 stars but.. . Since last Winter the windows are shut and cannot be opened. It's a complete deal breaker and sadly i won't be staying there again. It was my favourite hotel in Hamburg.

Comfortable room, nice breakfast and perfect location, just a 10 minute walk from city centre. Staff very polite and helpful!
