Very authentic Italien cuisine. The highlight is when the owner goes through the todays specials on the chalkboard and explains every detail of the dish. We loved it.

Small portions, Big price. The restaurant had good atmosphere and the owner was nice in describing the daily menu. The food, however, was nothing spectacular and came at a high price. We ordered an expensive appetizer but the size of the dish was so small and unremarkable that we immediately had bad taste in our mouths. Main courses were better but nothing remarkable.

It felt like going to a friends house for dinner. Every ingredient translated and explained, most of which was authentic, they really took the time with us. A bit of a waiting time since everything was made fresh but absolutely worth it.

Er hier Pizza, Spaghetti Bolognese oder gar einen einfachen Salat sucht, kann lange suchen.

Dafür klingt jedes Gericht auf der Tafel wie ein Gedicht und wird liebevoll erklärt (bin alleine kommt man nicht drauf).
Das erzeugt zugleich das Gefühl, als wäre man DER EINE Gast. Toll!!!

Soulfood aus Italien. Wer im Pavoni auf eine Pizza Magherita oder Spaghetti Bolo hofft, der sollte lieber in den Eppendorfer Weg abbiegen. Denn im Pavoni gibt es richtige Italienisch Küche. Von den Zutaten der Gerichte über die Auswahl an Wein bis hin zur Gastfreundlichkeit für Mensch und Hund ist hier alles für uns perfekt. 08/15 kommt nicht auf den Tisch und die stets wechselnde Karte ist immer für eine Überraschung und auch ausgefallene Kreationen gut. Sogar das persönliche Vortragen der Speisen ist immer ein Erlebnis und man spürt die Leidenschaft mit der das Restaurant geführt wird. Typisch Italienisch eben. Man sollte aber auf jeden Fall die Desserkarte nicht ausser Acht lassen – immer der krönende Abschluss eines tollen Abends.
