Went to pal to celebrate, staff was weird, almost didn't let me in. Told him i was here to glove and that was fine. Went to the coat check and they told me that i was not allowed to use my gloves. I wanted to get a refund since i clearly stated my intentions and was clearly missled and they denied that. Worst 20 bucks of my life.

Bad experience at the door. They didn't let one of our friends from Australian in and the bouncers didn't explain why they turned her away. Honestly, she didn't miss much. Bad sound system, too sweaty and generally non-welcoming vibes. Don't usual review things on google but I would definitely discourage anyone from visiting, especially if you are not from Germany because you will turned away. Disappointing

We are used to come often for the kinky sundays. Guys at the entrance were welcoming. One even worried about me when i came with a tee shirt with the cold ahah.
Bartenders were nice as well. Really nice point: they come in the scene to propose fruits and candies.
Music is amazing.

My problem with this establishment is not only that they don’t let people in for the wildest reason, but the door staff doesn’t even try to be somewhat respectful…
It seems to be fun to them to make people feel bad about themselves. Incredibly unnecessary and honestly a disgrace to Hamburgs night life.

Trust the negative reviews here. No rhyme or reason to why the bouncers will refuse entry, they might brush you off like you aren't worth their time even when you're courteous and sober. And they'll definitely let you feel how little they think of you.

I used to live in this club during weekends between 2018-2020. When you know what you are looking for and you prefer intimate, kinky small techno venues that can still be called underground this is the place to be. I don’t understand all the people commenting on racial discrimination when I used to go there with friends of different ethnicity/nationality, I myself am not German either, don’t listen to the cancel culture reviews on here. Unless things changed a lot since the start of the pandemic, this is the best club for hard techno in Hamburg with an open hearted and open minded attitude. (Well, the one that is being advertised online anyways, of course Hamburg folks will know about one other place which is not advertised anywhere ;)
People turned down at the door are turned down because they are visibly popular culture folks who would cause a problem inside the club, so not because of their ethnicity or anything like that. And the regular kinky customers are very grateful for PAL for restricting entries to these idiots and this way preserving the intimate underground race culture of the club.

horrible!for no reason at all i was told i can go in but not my friends… we weren’t drunk.. not badly dressed … the guy at the entrance had no reasons at all.. can’t make any sense out if it.. shittyy attitude!
