Quite decent hotel with regard to the price level. Centrally located near Hauptbahnhof Süd U-bahn station. Breakfast was very good and the room was clean and comfortable. Pretty quiet street in comparison to some of the streets nearby.

I do not recommended this place.
The service desk staff was rude, unfriendly and incompetent. They charge you twice for the city tax if you book over booking.com. This did not seem to have been a mistake as the staff could have resolved the issue with booking.com but chose to push the problem on to the customer.

I booked and paid a room with booking.com. On check-in the service staff claimed we did had not paid the room. After showing the receipt, they accepted but than moved on to demand we pay the city tax, even though it was already included in the booking. Again, we showed the invoice from booking.com which included the city tax. But they did not accept the invoice and Instead pushed the problem on to the customer. In the end we had to pay the city tax twice at the checkout.

The rooms were small, no soundproofing and the staff barely spoke English. But on booking.com they claimed they had soundproof rooms and staff that could speak in English.

Very bad experience. I do not recomand this hotel at all!! In 3 nights they changed us 3x times hotel room from one block to another. The toilet got clogged even before we came here. The rooms smells awful and the stuff is helpless. The rooms do not have a fridge even though they tell you they will have. The heater is not working. And also the sauna is not working. They charge with extra Vat that they do not inform you about!!

Room was small and dusty and we found a spider in one of the corners. There were no instructions for the safe and the bathroom was horribly small. The location was 5 minutes away from the train station, although we didn’t feel really safe in that very dirty neighborhood. The walls are very thin so we could listen to our (loud) neighbors all night long and on rainy days, there was an unpleasant sound coming from the walls. You also have to use a key instead of a keycard to get into your room which was also very inconvenient.
The only good thing was the breakfast, which was also just average. Really didn’t enjoy our stay there but for the price it was alright and the staff was really friendly.

Horror, small room, the double bad was for slim people, old furniture, one room was under the roof, no fridge, a bad smell in the room, an old elevator, a poor breakfast

Yes we had a wonderful experience but the rooms were a bit small. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean but the main issue was the rooms were just too small. The breakfast was fantastic yes we had continental breakfast that was lovely. The hotel staff was also so nice. Great location not far from anything.

Clean rooms and very friendly staff, but the hotel is very old, rooms are small, mattresses too hard, pillows too small, I asked for a second one but "they didn't have". I wouldn't choose it again.
