Stayed for 4 nights during an event taking place in the hotel. It was really good. Wonderful staff always very helpful. I'm not giving 5 starts because rooms are not that well isolated and there is noise coming from the corridor and room access areas.

A single room for EUR 120 (standard) is good and EUR 220 (trade fair rate) might be acceptable.
But a single room rate of u003eEUR340 is close to profiteering. I'm doing business myself and I accept the idea of value based pricing - within certain limits. After this experience, I will not ask again.

We celebrared our Wedding in the Carl Hagenbeck Saal and also slept there before and After the Party. It was just like a Perfect Dream! Everything was just wonderful, Starting with the Service about More than one year before the celebration and ending with a Special Hotel room, Service and Food. The Buffet of the Wedding and also the breakfast next Morning were just Perfect. We are very grateful that we had the Chance to celebrate there. We advise everyone To Stay in the Hotel ♥️

This hotel is okay but nothing spectacular. The price of the room was way too high for what we got.
Room was clean but no balcony. Breakfast prices exhorbitantly high!!!!(24€) per person and not worth it. Should have been included in room price!

nice area in the neighbourhood of the zoo, easy to reach with public transport, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, nice room - only point to mention on negative side of the equation was that the mattress was a little bit too hard for my taste. But all in all a very nice experience - and I'll come back.

Despite that the hotel is good and clean, there is no doubt about that! the idea is also cool. On the other hand, they charge a lot of money for one night where they act like a fancy hotel, but on the sasme time there is no service included!
For example, they charge you for the DRINKING WATER 4 Euros !
normally 1 bottle of water is free in charge in almost all hotels! no welcome drink, no parking slots for free! charging a city tax of 6 Euros!

Having lived in south East Asia for many years, staying at this Hotel brought back some good memories ????.
Very friendly staff and very helpful. Keep it up.
The Floor and room I stayed in was very nicely decorated (this brought back the memories).
Room has everything you need and I got some good rest.
Breakfast Buffet was very good equipped and delicious.
Hope the Zoo will be open at my next visit.
