If you don’t want cheese (like me ????) the menu is pretty limited, only two dishes available.
Duck(29€) was really nice and meat(40€) a bit over cooked but also nice.
Even though food was nice it’s too overpriced in my opinion .????????
I went for a Christmas dinner and most of the people had cheese foundue(19€) and they were happy about it.

Cosy winery and restaurant with a long history that offers a decent cheese fondue. The entertaining part is: you have to prepare it yourself - no worries, that's simple but also a lot of fun. The wine selection is magnificent and the service gracious.

Very lovely winery with some outstanding steaks. Of course the wine is really good and goes from a price range from 24€ up to 5000€. There is as well a President Cut 900g steak for 95€ which looks really like a challenge I would like to take.

We ordered the presidents cut. Why not. So for 1000g/100€ I think it’s fair to have some expectations. Unfortunately they failed massively.

First, it took forever! Way more than an hour. I guess they had to head up their fancy oven. Because the place was not crazy full.
Second, in any setting like this I expect to get some bread, olive oil/butter/Schmalz as a informal starter especially, when you have to wait so long. After one hour we request his and got the most terrible bread ???? with out anything on the side I had for ages in a restaurant.
Third, they serve this amazing cut of beef on cold plates and just lukewarm ????
Fourth, at least my plate was dirty. No excuse just a silent change.

The rest: the atmosphere is something rare. The wine we had was fine.

So if they improve it’s a okay place to go.

Nice ambience, friendly staff, laid-back atmosphere, rather old fashioned traditional German pub decor, but that's the whole point! Absolutely FANTASTIC range of wine (obviously!), cheese platter to go with it. Or if you fancy the cheese fondue, it's a tab more pricey. Garden at the back in the summer is really delightful and doesn't get too busy either, which is handy for those love birds out there.
