This is a nice place with very kind and friendly staff. Their cakes are also tasty, although a bit expensive :) (we paid 5 euros for a very small cheesecake).
We were actually here for a breakfast, however, I don’t think this place is very adequate to have a proper for breakfast. First of all, breakfast for two is 35 euros without any coffee inside. There is another option for 13-14 euros, which again does not seem to include a proper breakfast plate - it includes granola, fruit etc. And the last option you can get is omelette or scrambled egg.
Finally, this place can be really good as a cafe, but definitely not a breakfast place in my opinion.

One of the best breakfast and the best ever caks and pasteries I had in Hamburg ???? friendly staff and very pleasant vibes. The chocolate fudge cake was a piece of heaven, haven't had that cappuccino since I was last in Italy, and the breakfast set was more than enough for the three of us. Highly recommended ❤️

They don't follow covid regulations properly in my opinion. I had two vaccination doses and a recent covid recovery (less than one month ago), but they would not let me enter. They said I needed a daily test as well as 2 doses+genesen. Nowhere in the entirety of Hamburg that I'd been to since suffering from COVID have I been told that I needed a test on top of recovery and 2 doses. It is not safe for me to get boosted straight after having COVID (otherwise I would have already), so in effect they are punishing me for having had COVID recently. It is morally wrong, and also goes above and beyond the rules laid out by the state I believe.

Also it makes no sense because realistically I am far less likely to be infected than someone with three doses. Two doses+recent recovery is surely safer than just 3 doses. This should be obvious.

Anyway 1 star for wasting my time, being rude, and enforcing made-up/nonsensical rules.

Excellent choice to have a breakfast/brunch! Really tasty and fresh meals in a cosy and clean environment! Don't miss the "Willi's Breakfast"!
