It was cool that you have to ring the doorbell to be in the bar. It is a modern take of speakeasy but too minimalist. The house drink- gin basil smash is delicious but other drinks is good but not spectacular. It is so loud in there that you can’t carry a conversation. However, I still recommend that you should go there while in Hamburg.

Le Lion is the best bar of Hamburg. There’s a new drink in town, it’s called “It’s not a walnut”, a very smooth, creamy egg-nog orange perfection. Try that!

A rather classy bar with a nice cozy environment to sit down and have long conversations over their signature Gin Basil Smash.

It's admitably costly and there aren't any food options, but coming up with here after a nice satisfying dinner with your date to sit down and chat is really worth it.

They start dimming their lights as the hours wind down to 11am to 2 pm, making the atmosphere simply remarkable.

Very crowded but inside is fine.
Gin Basil Smash was really good.
Sazerac was also good but can feel too much absinth for me.
It is so sad that i could not try more.

Great high end drinks and cozy place. It is a must go place if you want to enjoy mixology in Hamburg.

The Oasis for drinks in Hamburg or call it a Institution! For our friends from the UK, here is where you get your Espresso Martini, for all others, good luck to find a drink they can’t serve ;-).

Outstanding quality, nice atmosphere...but stick to the 3 drinks rule ;-)...

One of my favorite bars ever. Every drink I've had here has been just amazing. In addition, there is a very stylish ambience and simply perfect service and advice. For me a must visit whenever I am in Hamburg. I can only recommend it as a pleasant way to end the day.
