This is an average dining experience in a restaurant that clearly prioritizes quantity before quality. The restaurant boasts about having the capacity for 550 guests. The menu is extensive, and the prices are average. Both the menus we received were incorrect and incomplete. The waitress didn’t even apologize but instead pointed out that we should have seen that only linch options were available in one menu (we were there for a late lunch). She was generally arrogant throughout our lunch. Other staff members were unattentive and uninterested. We opted for tapas and were not happy with any of the options. In fact, the patatas bravas were simply boiled potatoes served with a salsa (which was brought out with bread, before the tapas arrived). The meat was so tough that we had to send it out. It was also completely cold. The next batch of meat was better. The food tasted mass made, and not restaurant cooked. In general, the food quality was very poor.
The restaurant features two floors of seating inside, a large bar, and outdoor seating in the summer.
For anyone who has visited Spain you will be very disappointed in this dining experience. In fact, this is one of the worst Spanish restaurants we have visited in Germany. We will not come back.

The restaurant is lovely, spacious, and very cosy. The food is is also great. I can recommend burgers and steaks there.

One negative point is that last time I visited there they posted a notice on Entrance saying due to problems, card payments are not possible now. However it seems to me this is not temporary. It is still there since 6 month ago. That would be a pitty that such a Restaurant doesn't accept cards.

Delicious food, warm and kind stuff, reasonable price, the environment was also very nice. I really recommend this restaurant.

Just a negative point that smoking was allowed and people was smoking near us which is really annoying.

I dislike writing negative or disappointing reviews but sometimes the experiences are such. My last few dining out experiences were really good so it was perhaps time to average things out.. So here goes..
group of 5 for a birthday on a Tuesday evening

Service - non existent. Massively understaffed and the staff seemed burdened and stressed. You can see they are busy and all over the place. No one at the entrance to check reservations, just confused customers looking at each other.

We went for the all you can eat option

Food:
Steak - arrived cold and hence chewy. Reason. read above. Plates probably were laying for a while before being delivered
Pork Ribs - Excellent
Prawns - Good

Candle for the birthday cake - No Sorry cannot be given. (Did not even bother asking for a reason). Although we got a some drink for the birthday girl. Did not check the bill, assuming it was complimentary.

Food Wastage:
All 5 went for the all you can eat option. Serving size was pretty huge (for us ) and hence we struggled to finish what was offered. Not even one person asked for a refill of any of the dishes. Hence we requested them politely that instead of throwing away the food please let us take it. We take responsibility of any 'health and hygiene' issues. At this point I repeat, we did not ask for a single refill, everything was as per the original serving. Guess what, answer was no. Throwing away the food makes more sense than someone taking responsibility to take the food. We even offfered to pay for it instead of it being thrown. Maybe this was our fault by making a false order but we tried to correct it, I do not see the point of such food wastage. Appalling and sickening in the name of 'rules'.

Went in a steak and meat lover, came out feeling guilty about my decisions.

Lastly - a premium steakhouse not accepting credit or EC cards, only cash. which century are we in ?

As a regular costumer , went today with 6 friends for tapas , and was absolutely disgusting !! The sale they brought was miserable , old lettuce , 2 slices of tomatoes , 1 slice o zucchini , NO dressing , before after the first lockdown , was fresh looking , the feta cheese was amazing , now , terrible . The Rosmery potatoes had NO Rosmery , were Not al boiled potatoes , the shrimps, All overcooked , the meat , cheap , greasy untasty and terrible presentación , every single dish was an horror , again , I am a regular client there . Everybody hated their dish, I spoke with the manager and they really didn’t care … well, make sure that today , you La Madera, have lost at least 6 clients for good, all your food was gross and uneatable. And regarding to your answer , ITS NOT OK when a full table complain about the food because is OLD, OVERCOOKED , UNFRESH ans you are paying over a 100 euros , who told you that’s ok ? Also what is ok is that the manager give the face , apologize, go to the table , not the poor server saying that a lot of people have complain for the same abs there nothing she can’t do , maybe the owner , should think about hiring another manager ! Very surprise with a ver unprofessional response , but what is worse , ignorant
