Definitely not a 4 star hotel. The carpet is old and stained throughout. The key card only worked once out of every 5 swipes. The main door and bathroom door had chunks missing from the wood like it had to be broken into at some point. The A/C wasn't working so we slept with the window open and the traffic woke us up several times. The complimentary water tasted awful. The beds were thin and dated. When you sit in the middle the top and bottom of the mattress bow up. Very glad we were there for only one night. The only positive is the location of the hotel.

Staff reception, the lady who was there on 5th September 2022 is very rude, she needs to take lessons how to deal with guests.
This is the 1st time in this hotel to face a problem like that, i am regular guest at this hotel since 2012, that's why i keep coming to this hotel.
Rooms are good u0026 clean, breakfast is good, location is great.

Place:
It is very near to Hauptbahnhof and other near attractions in Hamburg
Stuff:
check-in: Fast everything was ready and it take less than 5min
check-out: was unfriendly answering with yes or no, no greeting or wishing however it was a fast process I just return the key
Room:
Very quiet and Clean room with basic stuff like a bottle of water, the refrigerator was empty but working.
The inner view is a view of other buildings no garden unless you are on the last floor you can see the roof of other buildings
Food:
I didn't try it
overall I can see it is a good hotel

Had a very good stay and the hotel is perfect. Quiet rooms, great location, good value and decent breakfast which offered a full and good range of cooked and continental. The staff in the hotel are very professional and at the same time helpful and friendly. Can’t really fault it and would definitely stay again if visiting Hamburg. Highly recommended.

The breakfast staff is unfortunately vey unpleasant. I’ve encountered better manners in student hostels. But the rooms are adequate and the location convenient. If that’s what matters to you.

It will be difficult to find more unfriendly reception. Every time I wanted to run into the elevator as fast as possible not to be seen by the girls from reception. The check-in process is like a test that you can fail. Room and breakfast are good.
