It's a decent hotel with a good price/quality ratio. I always enjoyed my stays there. Sure you won't get Hilton style rooms here, but therefore you won't pay that price either. There's basic new furniture in some rooms, others are like the time has stopped some 30/40 years ago, when they must have been really grand rooms and this hotel at the height of its time. If you don't mind this, I totally recommend it. The location is very convenient with Altona station close and the staff always super friendly. I once forgot my ebook reader in the room and couldn't believe the cleaning lady saved it and a friend could pick it up for me. I've forgotten less worthy things to steal at more expensive hotels that never turned up again. Feel like a guest here, it's like your favorite rundown pub next door, just that it's a hotel.

It's not a hotel, maybe a hostel at best. Very run down, smells like cigarettes, has mold growing in some rooms, electricity outlets falling out of the walls in others. My bathroom had naked wires hanging from ceiling. The whole neighborhood looks dangerous. The only good thing was the breakfast.

Looks terrifying from the outside but it's honestly a we'll run establishment. The staff is very friendly and professional. The breakfast is very good and the rooms are ok. Super dated but ok. Clean but beat up. I could stay there again. Low price.

The room is dirty. The breakfast is poor. The building is falling apart.
Furniture, mattresses... All old and worn out.

Very polite and friendly people.
Nice location.

Sadly my room walls were covered in c*m and there was blood in the mattress.

From the outside it looks like the hotel from hell. First thought was, no way am I gonna sleep here tonight. But on the inside everything is entirely different. Nice spacious hall, large and comfortable rooms, friendly staff. Don't get me wrong, it still is a budget hotel, so no frills or luxuries. But I really liked it. Situated close to the (in)famous Reeperbahn, but just far away enough in a very quiet part of the neighborhood. Haven't tried it myself, but I'm told that even the breakfast is more than OK. Wouldn't hesitate to book here again.

Incredibly well placed and reasonable prices with car parking and very friendly staff and good Wi-Fi but a bit tired, but that is reflected in the price. Great for boys/girls out on The Reeperbahn

The hotel is somewhat central, and looks a little shabby from the outside. The rooms are great, though, and the lady at the reception was very helpful.
