The place being other than observatory is situated in a very serene outsetting. Very high on green, this place consists few of the very old but precious optical instruments.

The building itself is beautiful and lovely located. You can see the view of the Hamburg from the top of it.

Whenever you get the chance try to visit the very impressive library. Also the model of our planet system is worthwhile to walk along, especially with children

The Observatory's park is open for visitors during the day. There are also public star gazing events on some nights. It's worth checking the observatories website for these.
There is also cafe which serves lunch from Wednesday to Friday.

Cool place to go for a walk and also great tours to see the telescopes
