Horrible! We had a reservation with +/- 40 persons for a business event with our customers. Menu was booked in advance. upon arrival, we had to wait 1.5 hours for drinks and 2.5 hours for food. Our customers were starving and angry. We never got an apology for the delay and no reason to explain why, nor a compensation. They claim we were late, however we were perfectly on time, we even have proof of the timing as pictures were taken in the brewery upon arrival. Conclusion, never go there with a large group or for a business event.

Maybe nice for individual visitors but a nightmare for groups.

We had pre-ordered for 40, and had to wait 2.5 hours for the food. The food was nice when it came, but our customers were hungry when we arrived on time and a few left before the food even came. When we brought up with management they told us we had been late so out food had gone to other guests. Even though we had pictures with time stamps of arriving on time.
Terrible experience for our customers so I would not recommend at all for professional meetings. We had one pregnant colleague who asked for a soda as she was beginning to feel faint waiting for food, not even her soft drink was served. We had to physically collect it from the bar ourselves, terrible customer service all around.

Wow! The food was great and the beer was flowing. I dined here a few years ago. Looking forward to visiting here again.

Don't know maybe more hyped place or friends that give better grades. Our experience with family was this. Was and can be loudly due to insufficient sound barriers. Food was like a grade three. Not the best and not worst but overpriced. 91 (100 with tip) euro and waiter specifically pointed out that tip is not included. Like begging for more. Never happened rest of our visit in Germany in different restaurants (and there we gladly paid tip). So probably other restaurants to visit or it's Hamburg style.

Very big brewery and it’s overwhelming! Food was so so - Schweinehaxe was just okay and fish was exactly the same quality that you can buy it from supermarket but wasn’t that bad.

This place is great, especially for a real authentic German meal. I always bring guests here from out of town.

Everything here from the ambiance to the beer is unique. The service is good, even when it gets quite crowded.

There isn't a large selection, and not much for vegetarians to eat, but what they do serve is delicious and in huge quantities.

My favorite is the meat platter with a variety of pork in all its glory (belly, sausage, loins etc.) kraut, potato salad and radishes.

If you want to have a taste of local food and feel the ambiance of locals you can go there. It is touristic yes, the dishes are not gastronomic but quality is good and portions are well served. Staff is nice and welcoming.
