The most important thing first: the staff is overwhelming! They are so friendly, everyone. Not in an annoying way, they just really care. Whether reception, concierge, spa, breakfast, room service: everyone is just wonderful. They really made my stay unforgetable. Now, the hotel as such is one of the best I have ever been in and I have been to A LOT 5-star hotels. The rooms are nice and cosy, the beds comfy, the baths and rooms spacious and bright and airy. The air-conditioning is very quiet, the walls are thick enough not to hear anything. If you get a room to the inner courtyard, you can leave your window open at night. Internet worked perfectly at all times just as the rest of the service. I tested all of the facilities and was more than satisfied. Highly recommended

Grand Elysée Hotel is one of the finest. Good food selection for breakfast ; excellent set up of a variety of restaurants. Excellent services from Doorman through lobby staff to chamber maids/ room cleaners.

Remember to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your place. They compare hundreds of hotel sites and usually will have rates a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later! This hotel is one of the highest rated in the area. I have been coming here for a very long time. If you choose this place you for sure won't be disappointed.

Words will not be able to describe this place correctly. I can just say: Unique experience!

beautiful hotel and spacious room. the checkin was not smooth though, as i was given the wrong key and had to go back to the receptionist when i was exhausted from long international flight and jetlag.

We had a very pleasant stay! It's a lovely feeling when the porter rolls up with a trolley to take your bags up to your room. Lovely ambiance all round.

Very helpful accommodating staff. We needed an iron one day and within half an hour it was at our door.

We used the pool and jacuzzi in the spa several times during our stay. Lovely water temperature and lighting. Nice to be able to go from our room to the spa in our bathrobes. We ordered a burger while there which was sent from the café. The burger and fries were a little disappointing. The fries seemed over oily and there was a very small amount of salad /toppings with/in the burger.

We had an evening drink at the café where there was live music.

Great hotel very central in Hamburg - highly recommendable.
