We dined here one evening while staying at the hotel. OK antipasto plate as a starter. Our main courses were possibly the worst Italian meal I've had. Some not-quite-cooked pasta with four olives and three tomatoes and "gnocchi" with octopus where the gnocchi resembled logs of mashed potatoes with flour mixed in while the octopus was way to overcooked and hidden in a spicy tomato sauce that made it hard to taste anything else. Not worth it, dine elsewhere in Hamburg!

Someone already wrote 'possibility the worst Italian meal I have ever had' I fully agree and would also add 'and the worst wine'.
I had the rib eye steak, not much you can do wrong with it, right? Wrong!
All served on a bed of a...I do not know exactly what (picture attached for the Coroner-team). 'Filini' (the name of the restaurant) is a tragicomic figure of a very popular Italian movie 'Fantozzi' (attached a picture of Mr. Filini as a reference). The name of the restaurant fits 100% the quality of the food and I believe Filini himself might be working in the kitchen. The staff is very friendly (really). Ps: for german standards the restaurant is also expensive.

The breakfast buffet is amazing.
Next to the train station, which have little shops.
