This has become my new favorite place in Hamburg. The interior is so cosy, but yet elegant. The color of the wall reminded me of a glade in a forest.
Mirko, who was helping us through the menu did an outstanding job giving us guidance on their great wine selection. The menus available (there's a la a carte as well) are around 30-35€ (there's a vegan one) and are killing it. The traditional German food has these interesting nuances of creativity. But just so you get your mind start thinking - not too experimental (I liked the blueberries in potatoe leek soup). The Rouladen with Rösti we're to die for. The roast beef with pan fried potatoes couldn't be better (even know the next day since we didn't finish the portion and got the leftovers for takeaway).
All in all this is not just a clear five stars, but will be my top recommendation for anyone asking me for great food. Well done Mirko and team!
