Ultra minimal interior with the cutest little benches outside for sipping your coffee and people watching. Perfectly roasted and served coffee in the inner city. My experience here was impeccable!

Great coffee and delicious Franzbrötchen. Was in town browsing for the best Franzbrötchen and this I think is one of the good ones. It’s sweet, crunchy from the burnt sugar, although slightly dry it is still enjoyable. It was 11 and I was lucky to get the last piece.
They have seating area outside of the shop.

Elbgold Innenstadt stands proudly in the high tier of third-wave coffee. A gem of Hamburg.
It is to Hamburg what Intelligentsia is to Chicago. Superb.

Best coffee in town. Service is quite bad lots of times. Barista texts on WhatsApp in parallel while people waiting.

Great coffee and good vibes only from the 2 baristas! Excellent pastries -- we tried the traditional Franzbrötchen, a cheesy Franzbrötchen, and banana bread. When we went there was no indoor seating though - hopefully next time we visit!
