My husband had the rum steak, the meat was so tender that he talked about it days later. My fish fillet was also fried to the point.

The atmosphere inside the restaurant is innovative and pleasant, but we were able to sit on the terrace in the sun and overlook the entire Spielbudenplatz. We would be spoiled by several sympathetic and very attentive waiters and waitresses, who read practically every wish from our eyes.
The price for the menu was more than justified, we would have paid more.
If we go to Hamburg again we will definitely make a stop here.

Wir hatten das Menü zusammen mit der "Heißen Ecke"gebucht und nicht viel erwartet, da wir bei anderen, ähnlichen Veranstaltungen des öfteren vom Essen enttäuscht worden waren.

ABER:
Dieses Essen hatte Sterneniveau.

Vorspeise war ein Augenschmaus außerdem überzeugte sie durch verschiedene Aromen und Texturen.
Kaltes Lachstatar und warme gefüllte Knusperstange und und und.
Auch die Hauptspeise war ein Gedicht, das nur noch von dem krönenden Abschluss des Desserts getopt werden konnte. Das Bestand aus verschiedenen frischen Früchten, einem selbstgemachten, leckeren Parfait und verschiedenen Saucentupfen die auch wieder mit tollen Farben und intensiven Geschmacksnuancen überraschten.
Ein Explosion für alle Sinne
Mein Mann hatte das Rumsteak, das Fleisch war so zart, dass er noch Tage später davon erzählt hat. Auch mein Fischfilet war genau auf den Punkt gebraten.

Die Atmosphäre innerhalb des Restaurants ist schon innovativ und sympathisch, aber wir konnten auf der Terrasse in der Sonne sitzen und den gesamten Spielbudenplatz überblicken. Verwöhnt würden wir dabei von mehreren sympathisch und sehr aufmerksamen Kellnern und Kellnerinnen, die uns praktisch jeden Wunsch von den Augen ablasen.
Der Preis für das Menü war mehr als gerechtfertigt, wir hätten auch mehr bezahlt.
Wenn wir nochmal nach Hamburg fahren werden wir auf jeden Fall hier einen Zwischenstopp einlegen.
