Super nice hotel, newly renovated, with friendly staff and placed in a lovely central area of Hamburg.
Only a few minutes walk to lake, city center and basically to everything . Also close to the North area of the city, where there is a big park and other interesting areas to walk onto.
The area is of course safe, personally I never had a problem anywhere in Hamburg.
Small parking area outside the hotel (in the yard) but one can also park for free on the street, if one finds a space to park there. I believe there is also a paid parking inside the hotel.
Otherwise, the hotel has a good overall atmosphere which is always appreciated. We've always slept well here.

Stayed here previously. Hotel owner went bankrupt during Covid and new owner undertook full renovation. Hotel good location, quiet but short walk to busy area and near lake for morning walks. All buses go to central station so you're 5 min away. Rooms are small (first room I was assigned was super small corner, no desk area or chair). Staff accommodated a room change request with no fuss . Second room was per photos and comfortable.

During reno they removed 'heavy' furnishings and replaced with light woods and clean lines. Closet space at a min though. Bathroom functional though shower lacks door and you will spray water on the floor.

Internet worked well. Breakfast buffet very good though hotel might consider having hostess NOT escort you to your table (a line quickly builds up to enter the restaurant in the morning). I noted long check-in lines at peak hours at main desk with 2 desk personnel.

Staff is quite friendly, professional and helpful. Overall a SOLID Hamburg choice.

I was quite impressed with this hotel. You can tell it was recently renovated as everything is new and clean. Very well designed. The area is quiet with a few cafes within 5 mins walk. My only complaint is the few things I ordered at the restaurant were just OK and not good enough for the price in my opinion.

A nice property near Alster. The upgraded room we had was not very large but when I enquired having stayed in multiple other superior CP properties the helpful guy at the reception said it was large for Hamburg standards. The room had a very comfortable bed and was very clean with good bath products but storing space left a lot to be desired. The area is nice residential and with good access by bus to the centre and also 12 min walk from U3.
Staff was always very helpful, provided us with FP2 maskss since we had a supply of surgical masks
I think staying there is better than staying near the station or the tourist area. There are some good restaurant options in a street nearby and many further afield. With the German efficient transport you have nothing to worry about

Stayed at the Crowne Plaza for two nights.

The food was great, can recommend the steak. The breakfast was good with plenty of selection.

Some really nice walks close by around the lake and so on.

The staff were really friendly too which was excellent.

Clean, beautiful rooms and good service. The breakfast was delicious. The rooms have good sound isolation. The atmosphere was luxurious and the neighborhood is really silent. I recommend it!

We had an Alster View room on the 5th floor. Good size room with a nice view of the Alster in the distance. Hotel is conveniently located near an U-Bahn station as well as bus stops that get you into the centre of Hamburg within a few minutes. The lobby/bar are a nice place to sit, and all the staff were very friendly.
