The Lübecker Nusstorte was great, the atmosphere left quite a bit to be desired. Very unfriendly, and smelled strongly of cleaning chemicals.... probably because they were getting ready to close in about a half hour...but still. Close and then wash the floors...sheesh.

Diese Konditorei ist fantastisch. Wunderbare Kuchen und Torten, Backstube im Haus, offenbar hoch begabte Fachleute sind hier am Werk. In der Weihnachtszeit gibt es bei Peukert das leckerste Gebäck und- ganz wie in der Kindheit- die bunten Lebkuchenhäuser.
Die manchmal langen Wartezeiten werden durch die herzliche Freundlichkeit gerade von Fr. Peukert selbst, aber auch von ihren Mitarbeiter/inne/n aufgewogen.
Man kann hier auch wie in einem alten Café sitzen, sich Zeit lassen und die Passanten auf der Fruchtallee betrachten. Niemand drängelt, es gibt gutes traditionelles Frühstück, Kaffee Tasse oder Kännchen, man glaubt es kaum, es wirkt fast aus der Zeit gefallen.

Bestellungen werden vorbildlich pünktlich bearbeitet, bei nicht billigen aber erschwinglichen Preisen. Insgesamt eine sehr gute empfehlenswerte Konditorei.
