The cafe reminds so much of the street cafés in Paris or Brussels. The stuff is very friendly and they have a nice selection of French dishes (including Bretagne Fish Soup).
It us good for lunch or dinner.

An embarrassment, even by German standards. 20 minutes after seating and we still hadn't been given menus. The three idle staff inside by the till were chatting or playing with their phones, apparently only serving the two occupied tables inside. Meanwhile two waiters served (or, in our case, failed to serve) 10-15 occupied tables outside. I've lived here long enough to know that German service is, on average, the worst in the developed world, but this was absurd so we left and had a nice drink elsewhere.

Absolutely lovely setting on old square. French bistro style chairs and tables, quiet oasis of calm.

Entrecote came out well-done, despite being ordered medium-rare through medium. Chips and tartar good.
