Have been giving their breakfast a try. Breakfast was ok, the scrambled eggs were quite good. Prices were fair and staff was friendly.

If you are searching a place where after buying your coffee, the employees don’t let you sit in and you have to enjoy the food you paid for under the rain, you are in the right place.
I ordered breakfast to take away for me and my family, then I asked if I could drink my coffee inside because outside was raining. There were 3 different tables, reserved but not occupied yet, where I could have seat just for 3 minutes. I’ve been told that was not possible to take a seat, although the tables were free, although it was raining outside, although the people behind me have been told that yes, they could have taken a seat and they only had to wait until the next table was free (!).
Suggestion: next time you could tell to your customer: you can take a seat, but when the people who reserved the table are coming, you have to leave. This would have been totally okay.
I don’t want to say that I suspect that if I were German they would have found a solution for me, but at the end of the story I paid €12 to drink a cold coffee under the rain.

Nice bakery with a view to the factory floor to see bakers working. Quite spacious inside with more seats upstairs. Outdoor seats are also available. Location is out of the way and accessible with car or bike. The nearest train stop is at the airport, a good 10-15 minutes walk.
Their speciality is a Sunday breakfast brunch from 08:00-13:00 with bread and muesli. They offer cakes too.

Always excellent baking goods. Quick service. Large selection of sandwiches and traditional German baking goods.

The most delicious bakery in Friedrichshafen... AND... they bake with organic ingredients. They slice your bread the width you like it and with a smile. You can park there, you can also sit there and have coffee, it's definitely worth the detour!

Great selection of bakery products, easy to reach by both car and bike, my favourite bakery in Friedruchshafen.
