This is such a great hotel with excellent customer service. The location is second to none. It is steps from the train station on one side and the lake on the other. There is a bus stop on the corner and right across from a Rewe. Friedrichshafen is such a great spot to enjoy Bodensee. The hotel breakfast was so fresh and there are lots of choices. I went with my church group and they special ordered vegan salami, cheese and hummus and happily served it to us vegans. The rooms are nice and have a balcony and comfortable bed. The rooftop terrace is very nice to enjoy the view. We really enjoyed our stay and will return.

Had a nice and clean room. The breakfast spread was commendable. Staff were polite and helpful. Pleased with my stay at this hotel.

I Liked: Location is good. Near Lake constance, train and ferry. Lots of food selections.

What can be improved: Room is always cleaned very late into the day. Toiletries are not refilled. Breakfast selecion is very limited.

Sad place. The location has a great potential, but overall I felt like in a cheap pension for old people. Minimal and cold welcome in reception, room was old and toilet was awful.. noisy fan, terrible lightning. Breakfast was funny, all waiters looked like in hangover (possibly from the rabbit festival).. overall decent breakfast offer, but the place is not worth price.

Although I have not been to the hotel yet, I would like to give SEEhotel Friedrichshafen my warmest recommendations. The reason is the unique treatment the hotel gave us when due to illness in the family we had to cancel our stay with one day's notice, which is usually too late. However, the SEEhotel Friedrichshafen was very understanding of the situation and did not charge a cancellation fee. A hotel that really shows format. It is for sure that we will book many nights at that hotel in the near future. Peter C - Denmark

For its location, I would give it a 5 Stars. It is just beside the train station, a supermarket is just right opposite, near the lake and restaurants.

However, overall, I will give it a 3 Stars, for the following reasons:
1) The wifi is terrible! Despite my room is right above the reception area, the wifi is so weak and keeps dropping.
2) they don’t provide kettle in the room, nor any free mineral water.
3) The bed is very soft and you may get backache the next morning
4) The bed lamp is right above your head (see picture), and it is impossible to use as it shines directly on your head and glare your eyes
5) I don’t know if they provided shower gel? Or shampoo? Or it is a 3-in-1. Well, I will just use it.
