The hotel is perfectly located close to the train station while it's also a quick walk to the promenade on the lake. The room had a good size and was clean. The staff is very friendly and dinner at the restaurant was excellent. Good breakfast buffet.
Tip: ask for a north facing room as it won't get as hot and would be quieter.

The walls are pretty thin - we heard loud snoring from the other room.

Overall a pleasant place to lodge for a few days. Although without significant amenities it is nonetheless a quiet hotel with basic comforts for a restful stay. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. A quality breakfast with a variety of choices is served in a bright and cozy breakfast room. The window-lined room provides a street view of townsfolk headed to school and work, a charming way to start the day. A fine selection of tasty and thoughtfully prepared regional dishes are offered in the hotel's restaurant. Just off the main entrance, the restaurant made it easy to "stay in" to keep our evenings relaxing and hassle-free. The hotel's proximity to the rail station and to the venues along the lakefront was also a bonus.

If you have a room next to the stairs, the elevator or the main street, it is very loud the whole night long. If you decide to close the windows, the rooms get very hot in the summer and there is no air conditioning. It's a lose lose situation.
Our door did not lock by turning the key a single time, since the lock bar was too short to lock into the door frame. You had to turn it twice. Good to know!
Overall the rooms are old and dated. Not worth the price. Would not recommend

In general a nice hotel, it follows all the Covid-19 rules. The rooms are a bit dated and the windows and doors doesn't keep much sounds out. Staff is friendly and nice.

Somehow price and quality do not match. Only 3 quest parking spaces. Room was clean, but the corridors where worn or dirty or both. Would maybe stay for work related things, but defenetly will not return with family

Excellent little hotel situated very conveniently to important places in Friedrichshafen. Cosy and rustic rooms with actual keys instead of key cards. Included breakfast is nothing to write home about but the service is very warm and friendly

Loved the rustic charm of the place. We'll connected to the places of interest in the town. Proximity to the train station is a huge advantage.
