Cozy hotel. We spent a great night there. The breakfast is a typically German breakfast.

Single room price was the same as a quadruple room with 4 adults.

This place has seen better days.

The hotel is about 75 minutes walking distance away from lake Contance.

The personnel could not give any information on the ship connections on the lake.

At breakfast we were disturbed by loud and exited talking on the phone at the reception which is located right within the breakfast area.

No table sets on the breakfast table, you are basically eating on the plain wood of the table.

A huge flatscreen TV running business news with no sound ( :-) ) at the breakfast area shows what ambitions the owners have in mind: "holiday-seekers bugger off!"

The building itself is not maintained at all. Huge plant tubs outside are grown over with weeds, just growing wild and hedges surrounding the building and the way to the parking are just out of control and there are plenty of weeds growing between the pavement stones which are already loose due to no maintenance.

The place has sort of a "deserted" look.

Communication between the changing personnel at the reception is absolutely unsatisfactory.

Annoying street noise from the "Hauptstraße" starting very early in the morning.

Fortunately there are a few places down the road where you can go for a drink in the evening.

This "establishment" totally lacks the comfort you'd expect from a typical German hotel. There is no terrace and there is no hotel-bar.

In fact, the way the place is run it should not even be called a hotel, it rather compares to a Bu0026B of the lower class and for that it is way too expensive.

Room Tip: If you are planning a trip to lake Contance for holidays just avoid this place. Period.

Calm stay at this hotel. Good staffs at the reception.. fare was high due to exhibition

We had a great stay at the Hotel Adler, the room was clean and perfect for our needs. The staff were most pleasant and helpful.
