Incredible german restaurant, perfect to try the schnitzel and the potatoes. The waiters were really kind and helpful and we had a very great dinner.

Small restaurant with one person handles almost everything: taking order, making coffee, serve the foods and taking payment.
Downstairs there is a discotheque and toilets.
Quite nice ambiance for us even though we just take a dessert, coffee and beer.

The service guy speak English too.

The service was to put it bluntly not good. Apart from a single smiling guy, every, single, person, couldn't spare even a single smile back.

The food was edible but not stellar by any standard.

We asked for the Bill and were told that someone was coming, if we didn't ask again after 15 min we would still be sitting there...

Overpriced for what it is, save your money and go to another restaurant with both better service and food.

Honestly I expected better based on the rating. The staff were nice and friendly. I got a schnitzel and it was good but the sauce was watery and the fries were not great.

Excellent food (it really is a snitzel paradise!) and extremely kind staff. If you need to kitsch lederhosen shtick, go across the street. If you want to eat well with friendly people, come here.

16 years ago my favorite Schnitzel restaurant in Freiburg , remains the same satisfaction over years. Every time we visit Freiburg , a must eat on the list! Now it's also my children's favorite.
