Stylish and cosy hotel on the outskirts of Freiburg. Great restaurant, the environment and the food. Rooms are comfortable and adequately equipped. The room price was ok, I had a limited selection to choose from the menu if I wanted to keep my restaurant bill below €40 for two courses. Overall I had a good experience and when it came time to pay the bill, their machine played up, I had to wait a while and they brought me a coffee as an apology. Recommended

very nice hotel with good restaurant and beer garden. The rooms were very modern and nice and the breakfast buffet was excellent. We also had free public parking in front of the hotel and it was about 10 minutes by tram to the city centre/about 25 minutes walking.

The room was clean and cozy but the internet did not work most of the time. We had to buy local sim cards with data. Breakfast is good but they don't have plant milk, had to buy my own.

Aside from the slow wifi, missing elevator, and the noise from the street that others have reported, my room was really sub-standard. Yes, the staff is very nice, so perhaps one should eat there but avoid the hotel. The carpet was dirty, the shower curtain was so short that the bathroom floods after even careful use, and the clothes hangars were an assortment that no one would have bought at a flea market. Maybe I had the "looser" room and others are better, but the storage cabinet in my room didn't open completely because the front door mechanism is in the way. There was NO bench, extra chair or stool for my suitcase, so I had to leave it on the floor in the space that was definitely meant for it. (I asked two staff members for help, but no extra piece of furniture was delivered to my room in the two days I stayed.) The extra billing method for room and drinks is a nightmare for those of us on a business trip.
