Great atmosphere and great food. Had very tasty calamri, shrimps, and a very nice pork cut. Only downside was that they accept only German credit cards, or cash.

Great decor and ambiance! Tapas platter was pretty good and they accommodated our request for vegetarian. The desserts were amazing! Highly recommend the crema Catalan. Service was friendly and attentive. Fair prices.

The Serrano ham was extremely disappointing. The rest of the food was fine, but not so authentic.

We loved coming back to this place to celebrate our special events, even spent here our last evening in Germany before emigrating.

Food is great, especially the specials. Staff is very nice and friendly. Overall ambience, decoration and lighting is very accommodating.

You want to book in advance for Friday nights ;)

I'm a solo traveler, and went out of my way to visit this place following the good reviews. There were still 2 tables for 2 people available. I asked the owner (older man with glasses) for a table for 1. He told the waiter to check if any were available.

The waiter came back, and told the boss in German that there were 2 tables available for me, yay! The owner paused for a few seconds, obviously thinking if he wants to potentially lose 50% income on a table.
The boss turned to me, assuming I don't speak German, and told me there's no tables free.

I told him I just understood from the German waiter that he said there were tables available, but he ignored me. I told him its very discriminating and that he'll get a bad review for this.

He took this as a cue to follow me outside and threaten me about writing a bad review... (Tip:that is the best way to get a bad review.) His very poor defense was that all of a sudden they only serve parties of 2 (then why even check if there are tables available?!)

People sitting on the terrace overheard and asked me to join them instead, apologizing for the owner being like this, and that it's not normal for Germans to behave like this. They even left a review confirming this happened on tripadvisor. Obviously the owner just responded with lies.

I'm very surprised this restaurant doesn't have more negative reviews for their service.

Tl;DR: Supposedly good food if you can tolerate discriminating owners.
