Nice hotel held by an extremely kind and friendly family. Quite area. Good breakfast. You will find that the hotel owners have put out some free snacks for their guests (different kinds of baked goods or fruits).
The hotel also has a restaurant, do check their opening days and times carefully. They are not always open. The "Flußkrebs/Salat „Asiatisch“ " is legendary, try it.
If you like hiking you are in the right spot. A bus stop with a bus taking you to Freiburg at least every half an hour is nearby the hotel. A bank u0026 cash machine as well as a small store for the necessary is also in walking distance.

Nice old fashioned restaurant. I was looking forward to the seasonal white asparagus but they ruined it by boiling it in sugar water and it was sadly inedible. I did dip the good German bread into the hollandaise sauce though.

Comfortable hotel with spacious rooms and a wonderful traditional restaurant serving Schwarzwald specialities, set in a charming hamlet with great walking nearby. The varied breakfast is worth a visit alone.
