Perhaps the best cafe in Freiburg and in the Black Forest. Certainly my personal favorite. Surrounded by the Black Forest mountains and near the Dreisam river just outside Freiburg, it's an idealic spot. The atmosphere inside and on the small terrace is welcoming, light, clean, upbeat, yet relaxing. Interior decor is fantastic and the espressos are good. It is also out-of-the-way, so you won't find tourists here. Plenty of locals. Finally, the owner and staff are awesome. I love this place.

Beautiful and cozy vegan café/restaurant. We went there spontaneously and enjoyed the tasty meal plus a cake. They have a big selection of tempting looking vegan cakes, so I will definitely be a regular visitor in the café.

Cafe am Schloss is wonderful. The food was so good I bought one meal to dine in and a second to go each time I visited. It's an excellent restaurant and service is with a smile. I will return there next time I'm in Germany.

Cozy and calm gem of a café with pretty Persian-style ambiance and a lovely owner. Vegan drinks and cake available and a variety of salads.
