Went here late at night on a Friday. The place was full but we were lucky enough to get a table. The bartender spoke English and gave good drink recommendations. The location is near a theatre so a large part of the clientele was the cultured sort and there's potential to overhear some fun conversations. The wait staff was polite and friendly. The overall vibe of the place is fun, friendly and not too loud.

Nice place for a date or drinks with friends . The atmosphere and the attention are quite good. Looses one star for me because you can't pay with card and they allow people to smoke inside. Other than that is great. Super extensive beer offering and solid cocktails.

Nice place to have an evening drink. -Good choice of drinks especially beers. One can here get an imprint of a good and friendly atmosphere, but be aware that the air inside is smokers friendly. Enjoy your visit!

Cool place for beers and friends. Beer selection changes and has more variety than most pubs in town. Live music on occasion. Smoky all the time. I imagine this place is ideal for the standard Stammtisch or just a bunch of folks socializing the ol' fashioned way. If there is live music it can get hoppin'. As far as I know the food options are a bag of peanuts or the Dönerladen down the way.

This Place has been around pretty much since Moses split the Red Sea, however it has recently reopened under new ownership and a new name. To my surpise, the bar has lost little of its old-timey, Stühlinger-charm, while at the same time being much cleaner and also more spacious after the interior was redone. There is a huge selection of beer, the chocolate porter being one of the more popular-yet-exotic drinks on tap and I am pleased to say that it tastes a lot better than it sounds!

The beer list is minimalist, but changing often and featuring off the beaten path beers from craft or private breweries. Knowledgeable and friendly bar hands.
