It is a nice restaurant near sandweg. The price was comparatively cheaper. We can sit outside also. Some tables ouside are covered so that we can sit outside even if it rains. However this time there was not enough staff and it took a lot of time to get food.

This is not a typical German, but a typical Hessish place! And it's absolutely amazing in that sense!

It's like going back in time (and a shabby, but lovely interior helps it) to experience Hessen cuisine at its best: ebbelwoi in old darkened from time bembels, typical local soup from Sauerkraut and a fine variety of schnitzels. A menu of ca. 26 EURO per person (for groups of 4+ people) is amazing for taking your guests to experience old Frankfurt.

Definitely coming again!

Nice place for traditional Hessian cuisine with Frankfurt Schnitzel (in the back) with traditional 7 herbs green sauce or Odenwald Schnitzel (in the front) with cream cheese-like sauce.
Very nice setting in the backyard in a quiet street and prices are ok for Frankfurt, but the sauces both Frankfurt and Odenwald were o only 4 star quality. The green sauce too sour, the cheese sauce too liquid. But the schnitzel was great.
In total a very good option for traditional Hessian food.

Really good Germans cousine. Multiple choice of Äpfelweine. Waitresses were quick and kind. It wasn't a problem that we hadn't a reservation like in others restaurant near by.

Nice beer garden, friendly staff and attentive service. But the food was nothing special, and the portions weren't as generous as we've come to expect from a Frankfurt apfelwein restaurant.
