Excellent German restaurant! I had the Schnitzel with the green sauce, it was fantastic. The lady who served the foods was super friendly. I really enjoyed my time here.

We just had a bad experience in that restaurant... Yes, the atmosphere is fantastic, the place is super popular, and the menu seems very appealing but the rest was just not good. The employees seemed to be super busy and we waited for quite a while until we got their attention. When we finally got some attention, our waiter acted super pushy and the interaction with him was just unpleasant and quite rude. Unfortunately, the food was not good either. For a simple salad with a few stripes of overcooked beef, we paid about 18 Euro. The schnitzel was good but again overpriced for the size of the portion. Not sure what happened there since the rating seemed fine, but our experience was just not good. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend.

Handkäs was delicious. Meat is okay but smaller than sides and the Kartoffelngratine was just nah. The meals are not “i’m gonna come back another time good”, but it’s okay if nothing else is available.
Service was ok, despite that we got served while we were eating our handkäs. What is even more odd, besides the fastfood chain service is the fact that while I was taking the freaking schnitzel in my mouth they wanted to take away my plate(while half full).

Yes I had a friend also in the city where I spent a long layover after my trip around Asia waiting for a flight to go back to Venice to start a lockdown! Mosebach is nice, typical, authentic. Kind staff, funny owner, amazing and tasty food, a great injection of happiness in the end of my holidays to keep me alive during almost 2 months segregated in my apartment! I'll be back soon!

the waitress was extremely helpful despite her limited proficiency in English. food was great and the price was affordable

Exellent food. Typical local restaurant. DELICIOUS "green sauce".
Nice backyard to sit outside.
