Found this place on a whim and was pleasantly surprised by how lovely it was. As tourists we were welcomed straight away had a great spot outside. Waiters were very attentive and were happy to give recommendations and shared a drink with us on the house. The food was delicious and plentiful and neither of us could finish what was on our plate. My partner was offered a blanket as it started to cool and all in all this is a great restaurant and would definitely recommend it.

Brilliant restaurant in Frankfurt. Our waiter (Christoph) was super nice and helpful in explaining everything, from the menu to introducing us to the Frankfurt way of finishing off a meal with the Snapps and apricot.

Big portions of food cooked perfectly so great value for money. Would 100% recommended to anyone living or visiting Frankfurt

Run away !!!
Entered in the restaurant, 2 waiters ignore us. The third one makes a face to us after we said that we were 3. We tell him that it's ok to eat outside, where there is place while the restaurant is full.
Once installed in terrace, we left after 15 minutes of waiting, without having seen again the waiter.
A shame.

Whenever people come to visit Frankfurt and want a traditional meal, this is one of the places I usually take them. The food is solid, the prices are good and the atmosphere is spot on what you'd expect. It's also nice to have an apple wine at one of the outdoor tables if you are wandering around Sachsenhausen in the evening.
