Top notch place, great for a sit down and a chat any day of the week. Good music that doesn't get in the way, great staff, fair prices on drinks. Clientele also a good crowd, nobody causes trouble. Ladies toilets always clean and comfortable. Ralph is a wonderful landlord and obviously cares for the business and the regulars.
As I don't smoke, the smoking is for me the only negative, and I don't think it'd be fair to take a star off. You can't go wrong at Zappbar if you're looking for a cosy night with a pint.

One of the nicest friendliest places you will find in Frankfurt it’s full of great people and Ralph is a superb host knows exactly what you want before you even ask for it. The drinks arrive quietly and steadily whilst you converse with friends your not rushed to leave you can spend as much time as you want. Pop out for food then back again for more drinks. I loved it I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Best bar in Frankfurt to relax, have a chat and a beer (or many), with great music. Been going there for over 10 years, and even if I end up missing for months, there's always a warm welcome when I finally wander back home. Everyone is friendly and relaxed. If you really mind smoke, go in summer when windows are open ;)

Place looks nice from outside, inside is too dark. Beer and the posters on the walls are good. The waiter is impolite. I didn't feel comfortable at all.

I've been coming to Zappbar for well over a decade. Even when I live outside of Germany, I always go home to Zapp. It's customers are diverse and the athmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. This place has seen me through the worst of times, and I don't even drink! Thank you, Ralph, for always being there for us :)

Absolute gem of a pub; atmosphere, music, and beer are all top-notch. Ralph and his family treat everybody as one of their own - everyone is welcome here.

Zapp is one of the best places in Frankfurt. I have met so many incredibly welcoming and open people there especially the owner Ralph. There is a warming atmosphere there. It's a great place to chill and relax after work.
