Tranquil park. But the scenery is ok.
It’s astonishing that people in 18xx could own such a huge land as their home.

Great urban park, not very big but well kept and very pleasant. The main lawn is big enough for kids to play football while their parents can have a picnic nearby. On the north end, there is a big playground (Spielplatz) for children. I am only missing a park cafe for beverages and snacks (strange that no one started a bike-cafè or something at least, it's always packed with kids and parents on weekends, and after work, and during lunch breaks with employees of the towers).
After the last 2 dry summers, irrigation was installed, so no more yellow dry grass ????

This park has Charakter old with the new, not overly big, but you can find a place to sit down always, not far from the Alte OPA,a short walk, a great play area for the children, plenty of space, and it's flat , with great bicycle access. Now that the summer has begun, it's nice to enjoy the new landscaping,the gardens look great with the spring blossom s

A little gem if you want a short period of quiet in the middle of the city. Take a stroll or relax on the grass. Have kids? No problem - there's a playground for them as well.

Clean and not overly crowded Park in the center of the city. Good for sunbathing, sports or kids activities.

These "anlage" that girdle downtown Frankfurt are an amazingly peaceful getaway located right in the middle of the bustling financial and business capital of Europe.
These interconnected greenways all have different names but can be walked , biked, hiked, and enjoyed in separately or in one urban hike or bike ride.
You can hop from one to another greenspace . There is the Taunusanlage , RothschildPark , Bockenheimeranlage , Eschenheimeranlage , Bethmann Park , Friedbergeranlage and probably a few I am forgetting. All closely interconnected and walkable.
There are many access points for entering these parks . Restaurants abound at all access points.
