Fitness First Frankfurt - Westend

THERE IS APPARENTLY NO SUCH THING AS A MONTH TO MONTH CONTRACT AT FITNESS FIRST. I signed up for a month-to-month contract at the Frankfurt-Westend location. I told the man who signed me up that I only wanted one month, he said fine, there's a one month cancellation period so we'll "cancel" it today. The contract was not available in English, but I trusted that he was telling the truth. After my one month, I kept getting notices from them charging me. I responded to each one saying, I've already cancelled it. No response. They even threatened to take me to court!

Eventually I paid the bill because I didn't want to get sued in a country where I don't live. So my one month of going to Fitness First cost me several hundred Euros, plus weeks of headache.

DO NOT join Fitness First. Their contracts are predatory and their staff are dishonest.

I recently had my EGYM training at Fitness First West End and I just wanted to say thank you to Mike, my trainer that day who was brilliant. He was friendly, encouraging and most of all patient. Thanks, Mike.

The gym for VIPs. You can tell because management and staff make every member feel like VIPs by providing excellent service and facilities, while members make themselves feel like VIPs by not racking their weights or putting equipment back.
